The viewer is literally sucked in by a fiery red path in the middle. There is an association with a lifeline. Industry becomes the dominant employer and secures the livelihood. Disappearing blue areas mark the progressing water pollution. Smoke hangs in the air. Isolated yellow paint applications stand for the positive aspects of the transformation.
