In 2014, the rally will be held in over 15 countries. Each of the 13 rallies is divided into 15 to 25 stages, ranging from rocky mountain passes to snow-covered slopes.<\/p>\n

The schedule of a rally: Tuesday and Wednesday: Practice the route and take notes. Thursday: “Shakedown,” a final test of the rally car. Friday to Sunday is the actual rally.<\/p>\n

S\u00e9bastien Ogier: “Rallying is like Formula 1 in the forest.” Born in 1983, Frenchman S\u00e9bastien Ogier, a trained ski instructor, won the Junior World Rally Championship in 2008 in a Citro\u00ebn C2 S1600. From 2009, he drove for Citro\u00ebn Racing in the World Rally Championship, driving a C4 World Rally Car. In 2011, he secured a regular place in the Citro\u00ebn Total World Rally Team. Driving his Citro\u00ebn DS3 WRC, he finished third in the World Rally Championship. The Delta dominated the rally scene in the late 1980s and early 1990s. A total of six consecutive Constructors’ World Championship titles between 1987 and 1992 speak for themselves. The great drivers, each two-time Drivers’ World Champions, won the Delta, Juha Kankkunen and Miki Bisasion.<\/p>\n

After the discontinuation of Group B, Lancia developed a new car for the near-production Group A. Based on the production Delta, a competition version was developed and built at Abarth in Turin.
