Der Porsche Carrera RS 2.7 ist nur entstanden, weil Porsche ein konkurrenzf\u00e4higes Fahrzeug f\u00fcr den Motorsport ben\u00f6tigte. Zur Homologation in der Gruppe 4 mussten 500 Exemplare gebaut werden, was den damaligen Verkaufsexperten bei Porsche schwierig erschien. 1975 bewies er dann seine St\u00e4rke und errang einen Klassensieg beim Rennen von Le Mans.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Denn wer sollte einen Sportwagen wie den Porsche Carrera RS kaufen, welcher auf ein m\u00f6glichst optimales Leistungsgewicht ausgelegt war? Die Nachfrage war so gro\u00df, dass die geplanten 500 Exemplare des 210 PS starken Wagens bereits im November 1972 verkauft waren und Porsche letztendlich insgesamt 1.580 Exemplare des 245 km\/h schnellen Sportwagens produzierte.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Nicht alle RS verlie\u00dfen als Leichtbau das Werk.
