“Drei Mann in einem Boot“ (subtitled Vom Hunde ganz zu schweigen) is a 1961 film comedy by Helmut Weiss starring Walter Giller, Heinz Erhardt and Hans-Joachim Kulenkampff.

The film was shot on Lake Constance (including at the “Hotel Bad Schachen” and the adjacent “Lindenhofpark” to the west in Bad Schachen, a district of Lindau, as well as in Meersburg and Wasserburg), and also along the entire Rhine as far as Amsterdam.

“Die Fischerin vom Bodensee” is a German Heimatfilm from 1956, directed by Harald Reinl. The leading roles are played by Marianne Hold and Gerhard Riedmann as well as Annie Rosar and Joe Stöckel.

The film is set against the backdrop of Lake Constance with the towns of Friedrichshafen, Kirchberg Castle, Hagnau, Meersburg and the pile dwellings of Unteruhldingen.

“Quantum of Solace” is the second Bond film with Daniel Craig in the leading role. It was directed by the German-Swiss Marc Forster.

Sections of the film were shot on the lake stage in Bregenz on the set of the opera Tosca and on the Lake Constance steamer Hohentwiel.
