The Hegau Bodensee Gallery was founded in 1992 and has been run by Martin Burkart in the 2nd generation since 2010. The gallery has an important collection of classical modernism with works by artists such as Otto Dix, Erich Heckel, Max Ackermann, Ernst Ludwig Kirchner and Pablo Picasso. Contemporary art is represented by works by Gerhard Richter, Markus Lüpertz and Luciano Castelli, among others.
