A new interpretation of masterpieces from art history. Classics “popped” and in a new light. “Translated” into the language of the artist.
The original “The Kiss” (originally Lovers) is from 1908/09 and measures 180 x 180 cm. It is on display in the Austrian Belvedere Gallery.
The Kiss is one of Gustav Klimt’s most important works and also one of his Art Nouveau paintings. It is also considered the painter’s most famous painting. Klimt completed the painting during his golden phase in 1909, and the predominant material effect is the non-color gold.
