Betende Hände (auch: Studie zu den Händen eines Apostels) ist das häufigste reproduziert Bild von Albrecht Dürer. Das Original befindet sich in der Albertina in Wien und misst 29,1 x 19,7 cm.

 

Technik: Tinte und Weißhöhung auf blauem Grund
Entstehungsjahr 1508

 

Dürer fertigte die Zeichnung 1508 an, als Studie zu den Händen eines Apostels in Vorbereitung der Mitteltafel des Heller-Altars. Auf demselben Blatt befand sich ursprünglich auch der Entwurf eines Apostelkopfes.
